Preparing for Thai Oil Massage in a Hotel, Condo or Home
Choose a private, comfortably warm area with enough room for the therapist to reach both sides of the bed or treatment surface. Move luggage, glassware, charging cables and unstable furniture. Protect hotel linen or upholstery with towels because oil can transfer to fabric, and keep the walking route dry to prevent slips.
Shower beforehand if convenient and wear clothing that is easy to change. Remove jewellery and store valuables securely. Ask which oil the therapist will bring, especially if you have coconut, nut, fragrance or skin sensitivities. Do not apply another strong product immediately before the session because mixed ingredients may irritate sensitive skin.
Hotel and condominium access
Confirm the property's external-visitor policy before dispatch. Send the official property name, tower, soi, lobby, room-call procedure and a current map pin through the private booking channel. Some hotels require ID registration or a lobby escort, while condominiums may require advance resident approval.
Meet the therapist at reception when required and never ask anyone to bypass security. For a house or villa, provide the gate instructions and a well-lit arrival route. Secure pets and tell household members when the private treatment area must remain undisturbed.
After the appointment
Keep a towel and suitable shower option available if you prefer to remove excess oil. Stand slowly, wear non-slip footwear and avoid walking on tiled floors with oily feet. If skin becomes unusually irritated, remove the product and seek appropriate medical advice when symptoms are severe or persistent.
