How to Prepare a Hotel Room, Condo or Home
Choose a clean, quiet and private area with enough room for the therapist to work safely around you. Remove luggage, glassware, cables and unstable furniture from the treatment space. Sports Massage does not normally require oil, but a firm surface, mat or suitable bed area may be needed depending on the agreed setup. Ask what the therapist will bring and what you should prepare before confirming.
Wear clean, flexible clothing that allows the hips, knees, shoulders and elbows to move comfortably. Loose trousers and a T-shirt are generally more practical than tight denim, short skirts, jewellery or clothing with hard accessories. Keep valuable items stored securely and make sure the room temperature is comfortable before the therapist arrives.
Hotel visitor access
Hotels have different visitor policies. Some require a guest name, identification, reception registration, a room call or an escort from the lobby. Contact reception first if you are unsure. Send the booking team the official hotel name, branch, map pin and any tower or entrance details. Do not assume the therapist can enter simply because the room is already paid for.
Meet the therapist in the lobby when required and avoid publishing your room number in public messages. Share sensitive access details only through the confirmed private booking channel. If the hotel refuses external visitors, do not ask the therapist to bypass security or misrepresent the purpose of the visit.
Condominium and private residence access
For condominiums, provide the building name in English and Thai when available, tower, lobby, visitor parking instructions and the process for resident approval. Some properties require advance registration or an access card. For houses and villas, provide the map pin, house number, gate instructions and a safe place for arrival and departure. Secure pets and ensure paths, stairs and outdoor areas are adequately lit.
